Consultancy Room |
MURs must be carried out in a separate consultation area that conforms to requirements for confidentiality, as set out in the Directions for enhanced and advanced services. Future services may also require use of this facility. The introduction of consultation rooms in the pharmacy has helped to create an environment where customers are more willing to speak openly about sensitive issues.
The size of consultation room should also take into consideration DDA UK Building Regulations and in particular the Disability Discrimination Act guidelines referring to doorway width and space for wheelchair users to easily access these amenities. All new consultation rooms should also include a hand wash facility.
Our consultancy furniture has been installed in GP surgery and pharmacies throughout the UK and is ideal for both consulting and treatment rooms. The range incorporates the latest NHS advice on infection control, hygiene and cleaning including the use of correct materials and finishes.
The solution FPD Group Ltd offer is robust, designed and fit for purpose and will outlast standard "kitchen" units with only a small initial premium that is more than repaid during the extended life cycle. We expect, with reasonable care, that the installation will look as good as the day it was installed even after 10 years of daily use.
